Objective: The intent is to help repair our transitional pipeline by exposing our students to their potential and options within our state and/or larger resource pool. These efforts are to bring back Deaf heritage and traditions to the state of Nevada.

Pre‑Employment Day is an opportunity for all elementary school to post-secondary school Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing students (including D/HH+ students) and their families and fellow community members, regardless of their communication modality, services received and/or placement to:

Learn about post-secondary opportunities and resources
Learn about Pre‑Employment services
Network with community members
Meet representatives from various colleges and universities
Engage with active Deaf/Hard of Hearing entrepreneurs and business representative models students can emulate or strive to become.
Celebrate our Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing Seniors and Graduates!

The desired outcome is to inform, empower, uplift and celebrate all the abilities of those who are Deaf/Hard-of-Hearing.
