Regina Mitchell was recently licensed as a BEN (Business Enterprises of Nevada) Operator. She is the proud Operator of the Hoover Dam Café and brings a wealth of culinary experience both as a chef and as a trainer. Her journey with BEN began in 2023 where she worked with her Bureau of Services to the Blind and Visually Impaired (BSBVI) Counselor to complete all the pre-requisites to enter the BEN program, followed by completing BEN classroom and on-the-job training in 2024. She then successfully completed the interim operator phase of the training in 2024-2025 and was awarded the Hoover Dam Café in the fall of 2025 after being the winning applicant for it.
