Renown – Reno
In Nevada, businesses that embrace diversity and hire individuals with disabilities are being celebrated through VR Nevada’s Disability Inclusion Partner program. This initiative highlights companies that are committed to providing meaningful employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, particularly those who are clients of VR Nevada.
The Disability Inclusion Partner recognition serves as a powerful symbol of business’s commitment to inclusion and diversity. Businesses can receive various awards such as window stickers, a custom crystal award, and/or a wall-mounted plaque, each signifying the business’s role in supporting the community and offering a welcoming environment for people of all abilities.
Recognition is based on business size, ensuring that companies of all scales can participate and be recognized for their efforts. The criteria for the Disability Inclusion Partner award vary based on the size of the business, which is determined by the number of employees:
- Small Businesses (25 or fewer employees)
- Medium Businesses (26 to 50 employees)
- Large Businesses (51 to 100+ employees)
